Begin where Las Olas Boulevard reaches the sand and turn north on A1A with the Atlantic on your right. You pass Sunrise Boulevard and Hugh Taylor Birch State Park before reaching the pier at Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, about 5 miles up. Roof off for this one.
