More than any other SUV in our fleet. Behind the third row there is about 43 cubic feet of space, roughly 70 percent more than the standard Escalade. Fold the third row and it grows past 90 cubic feet. That makes it the best choice for cruise transfers and airport runs with a full house.

The current Escalade's third row has real legroom for adults, the second-row captain's chairs leave a path to walk back, and in the ESV you no longer have to choose between third-row passengers and luggage. The 420 hp V8 runs 0 to 60 in about 6.1 seconds and does not struggle with a full cabin.
Both are $499 a day, with the same V8, seven seats and Platinum cabin. Get the ESV when every seat is filled and the luggage is real, like cruise or airport trips. The standard Escalade Platinum is about 15 inches shorter, so it is easier in tight garages in South Beach or Brickell, and it is plenty for groups that pack light.
