The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show takes over the city every fall. Hundreds of yachts, six venues along the water, and a week where every hotel, restaurant and valet stand in town is at capacity. We are based in Fort Lauderdale and show week is our busiest week of the year, so here is what we tell our own clients before they come.
FLIBS 2026 at a glance
Dates: Wednesday, October 28 to Sunday, November 1, 2026. Hours: Opens at noon on Wednesday and 10 AM Thursday through Saturday, and closes at 5 PM on Sunday. Main hub: Broward County Convention Center. Tickets and the latest schedule are on the official FLIBS site.

The six venues
- Bahia Mar Yachting Center: 801 Seabreeze Blvd, on the beach side of the Intracoastal
- Hall of Fame Marina: 435 Seabreeze Blvd
- Las Olas Marina: 240 E Las Olas Circle
- Pier Sixty-Six Marina: 2301 SE 17th St
- Superyacht Village: Pier Sixty-Six South, 2150 SE 17th St
- Broward County Convention Center: 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, the main hub
The venues are spread along a few miles of waterfront between Las Olas and Port Everglades. You will not walk between all of them, so plan how you get around.
Parking and getting between venues
The Convention Center is the main place to park, with more than 3,000 spaces at a flat daily rate (around $20 a day at last check). From there, free shuttles and golf carts run between venues with your admission, and water taxis connect the marinas for about $15 for a day or $65 for all five days.
Our advice: park once, ride the water taxi between docks, and use your car for the parts of the day that matter. Arriving, client lunches, dinner on Las Olas and getting back to the hotel.
Where to stay
The closest hotels are on Fort Lauderdale Beach and along Seabreeze Blvd, within walking distance of Bahia Mar. Harbor Beach and the 17th Street area put you near Pier Sixty-Six and the Superyacht Village. Rooms book out months ahead, so if you are late, look at Las Olas, Hollywood or even Miami and plan to drive in each morning.
Where to eat
Las Olas Boulevard is where the show crowd goes at night, and reservations are tight all week. Book dinner the same day you book your hotel. The restaurants along the Intracoastal and on the beach fill up just as fast.

What to drive during boat show week
A boat show is a sales event, and arrivals matter. Here is what our clients book:
- Yacht brokers picking up buyers: Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600, $695 a day or $1,495 for 3 days. Four executive seats and a very quiet ride from FLL to the dock.
- Owners and buyers: Rolls-Royce Cullinan or Ghost at $1,195 a day, or a G-Wagon at $750.
- Teams and crews: Cadillac Escalade or Escalade ESV at $499 a day. Seven seats and room for gear. Book several and we deliver them together.
- Evenings out: Book a chauffeur so nobody has to drive after dinner.
Every car is delivered free to your hotel, home, marina, FLL or Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport. Rent 2 days direct and the 3rd day is free.
Tips for boat show week
- Book everything early. Hotels, dinners and cars all sell out. The Maybach and Escalades go first.
- Expect traffic on A1A and 17th Street. Leave extra time around opening and closing hours.
- Plan for weather. Late October is still warm, with a chance of passing showers. Bring sunscreen and a light layer for the water taxi.
- Fly private? Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport is minutes from our office, and we will have your car waiting.
